Type a name → it’s on the plate.

An animated license plate with your customer’s name on it, rocking in the corner of the video. Paste one link into OBS, once. After that the name changes when you type it — no Photoshop, no plug-in, no file to export.

1 The name

Short reads best — a first name, or two or three words. It fits itself. | starts a second line. <3 is a heart.

2 The plate

Your state and its motto, your town, your store’s name — they’re just words. Leave one empty and it goes away.

This is the real plate, not a picture of it. The grey figure only stands in for your camera — in OBS the plate sits on a transparent layer above your video.

4 Your OBS link

  1. In OBS, Sources → + → Browser
  2. Paste the link, set 1920 × 1080
  3. Drag it above your camera. The plate starts its move each time the scene goes live — no box to tick.

You paste this once. Changing the name never needs it again. Change the look or the position, and you paste the new link.

5 Change the name on the fly

Open it
Inside OBSA dock Docks → Custom Browser Docks… Name it Plate, paste the remote link, Apply. A small panel appears: type a name, press Enter. Works with the wifi unplugged.
Anywhere elseYour phone Open the remote link on a phone, or in a tab beside your CRM. Same box, same Enter.
No remote at allType on the plate In OBS, right-click the plate → Interact. Type the name, press Enter, close the window.

This page is a remote too: once the link is in OBS, whatever you type in step 1 goes to the plate.
